WOOD & CO.
Wood & Co. is my commercial-architecture practice — how founders and owners work with me directly.
Building is now cheap.
Trust and traction isn’t.
The playbook that built your business is degrading, and the dividing line is what’s “visible versus invisible”. If you can't see and prove what's happening across your commercial motion, you can't rebuild it for what's coming — and tools alone will not lock in your defensibility, because they break at the handoffs.
That's where my work starts: building where the friction is so your competitive advantage compounds in the new era.
COMMERCIAL FIT
Building the revenue generating AI systems that operations-heavy businesses use — AI as the lever, starting where the money is being lost. Your team owns what is built.
-
Product-market fit gets you a product people want. Commercial fit is the next gap — a way to win and keep work that's repeatable, defensible, and yours, rather than borrowed from a playbook that's already decaying everywhere else. Most businesses cross the first gap and stall on the second. That second gap is where I work.
-
I connect the functional dots — sales, operations, customer experience — across the seams between departments where work actually flows, and where deployments actually die. Most people sell you a tool for one box on the org chart. I build across the boxes. And I'm not here to replace your people with agents — I'm here to amplify them: designing which decisions stay human, which run autonomously, and the trust architecture that makes operators confident enough to adopt it. That's the difference between a system that ships and one that gets used.
-
Agentic systems make you feel more certain than you should — they produce velocity and polish, which is exactly what hides a weak assumption. The real risk isn't the technology failing; it's the technology succeeding brilliantly at optimising the wrong thing.
So the first question I ask isn't "what can we automate." It's "how do we know this is aimed at the right problem, the right buyer, the right proof." Judgment first, then leverage. The tools are commoditised — everyone has them. The advantage is the proprietary signal underneath: your own data, your own relationships, the moments only you can see. I build that environment so it compounds — sharper every month, and impossible for a competitor running the same public tools to copy.
Most people arrive at one of two points.
Both lead to the same place: a commercial system built on proprietary data and AI leverage that gets sharper over time.
TWO WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
You've had wins or traction — but every new deal still feels like it depends on you being in the room. You haven’t yet extracted your deeper, repeatable messaging and that DNA needed to scale.
Your looking to fill the that gap between a product and automated revenue motion that wins work without you.
I build the founding commercial system — ICP, positioning, pipeline, and the first AI-enabled layer underneath it — designed to compound, not to be rebuilt every quarter.
1 - Building Your Revenue Engine
You see AI changing your industry and want to be ahead of the game.
You've watched enough hype cycles to know that moving fast in the wrong direction costs more than waiting. You don't need another tool. You need someone who has stood on both sides — an ex. operator and some technical who knows the software and your brand deeply, to find the line between ‘automate’ and leveraged advantage.
That's where I build agentic workflows that start where the money is lost first, a defensible data strategy so your operational data becomes a moat instead of complexity, and a governance layer that keeps your people in control - whilst protecting & amplifying your brand DNA.
2 - Running the Operation
*WHO THIS ISN'T FOR
I build systems your team owns and then I hand them over.
If you're after a quick campaign fix, I'll happily point you to other solutions. The work only pays off for operators who want to own the capability long-term.
HOW IT WORKS
I work in defined builds.
A typical engagement is a focused three-month build with clear scope and a system your team owns at the end. You keep everything built for you.
I keep the method. From there, clients can continue on a retainer for the next workflow, or take it from here themselves.
I take on ten to twelve builds a year - because I do the work properly, one operation at a time.
If you're an owner who wants to talk about something more permanent than a build, that conversation is open. The fastest way to know whether we should work together is to do the work.
Past Projects
Co-founded — is an AI platform for logistics operators: document intelligence, agentic dispute resolution, a three-tier governance framework that decides what runs autonomously, what needs a human, and what stays a human call. It's the lab where I pressure-test what actually works in AI-for-operations, with real capital and real operators in it.
Transport business-intelligence practice for operators flying without instruments: turning the operational exhaust most fleets never measure — cost-per-delivery, route profitability, wait-time leakage, compliance trails — into decisions they can act on. It's also the data layer beneath the AI: every engagement deepens a proprietary transport dataset no outsider running public tools can replicate. It's where the thesis gets proven on the ground — that in this sector the dividing line isn't big versus small, it's visible versus invisible.
