I've run operations — P&L, a state branch, retail store, warehousing, logistics — before I ever sold software. So I build and sell for operators as someone who's been one, not as someone reading their world off a deck.

    Senior Sales Executive

    Sold a cloud ecommerce-fulfilment platform — the software layer over warehousing, inventory and global shipping — into brands scaling their operations worldwide. Grew the Australian user base ~300% and order volume ~220%, hit 140% of booked revenue, and built a ~$10M APAC pipeline, closing a $4.4M multi-year deal early. This was where I learned the economics of logistics from the inside — margins, freight, last-mile — and saw how the right platform turns a founder's idea into a business shipping worldwide, almost overnight.

    Commercial Lead

    SmartBI turns Australia's 2026 transport-compliance shift — the Closing Loopholes chain order, s550 personal director liability, Chain of Responsibility — into something an operator can actually see and act on.

    The core insight is operational, not legal: a TMS records what you paid a subcontractor, but can't prove what reached the driver — and that gap underneath the contract is exactly what the new whole-of-relationship test examines. SmartBI reads where an operator's chain is exposed using data they already hold, then closes the gap with independently verified, GPS-stamped field records.

    It's where my thesis gets proven on the ground: the moat isn't the contract, it's verifiable evidence of what actually happened at the edge of the operation — and AI readiness, billing defensibility and regulatory exposure all turn on that one missing layer.

    Led new business for the Commerce & Fulfilment division across ANZ — the operations and logistics backbone behind some of the country's largest ecommerce brands. Delivered 135% of target, lifted retention to ~98%, and improved profitability ~12%. Pilots across seven strategic partners (~50% ahead of target). One of my earliest lessons in what it actually takes to put AI into live operations: the technology was ready before the operators were, so the work was as much about data, trust and readiness as the product itself.
